If you’re an iPhone user, then you have to know about Emjoi. Those cute little icons almost end up in every single iMessage conversation, and they can be a lot of fun! However, iPhone users have the advantage of seeing Emjoi icons on Facebook and Twitter – something that PC users aren’t able to view.
However, with Chromoji, that can all change. It’s a simple Chrome extension that allows you to view and use these crazy little icons for almost anything you want. Granted, it only works within Chrome, so you won’t be able to toss the icons into other text-heavy apps. Even still, it’s a fun little extension, and it might be worth checking out.
Chromji allows you to successfully see the results of unicode combinations (and you can actually view those here). Also, by default, it allows you to view the iOS icons and avoid seeing those ugly replacement boxes. Granted, you can turn off the setting if you want to go back to your normal, boring, Emoji-less life.
Realistically, you won’t find very many uses for Emoji. The icons only seem to pop up wherever people post from their iPhones, so realistically, Facebook and Twitter are about it. However, adding it to Chrome won’t slow you down, and besides, it makes the page look a bit more interesting. Ultimately, I say give Chromoji a shot. Spice up your life a little, will ya?
