Ibrahimovic: ‘Italy my second home’

Zlatan Ibrahimovic says “you never return to a club where you made history” but considers Italy “my second home”.

The Swedish striker is out of contract, and it was today reported that a medical has been scheduled with Manchester United for after Euro 2016.

Milan are keen to bring Ibra back to San Siro, and GQ asked him about the possibility of a return to Italy.

“I’ll say two things,” Ibrahimovic replied.

“One might contradict the other. The first, is that you never know. The second is that you never return to a club where you made history.

“Italy is my second home, there’s infinite passion there, it’s hot and total. They have a similar way of understanding the sport to me, maybe it’s the same for life [in general].”

Ibrahimovic was also asked about his relationship with the Coaches he’s worked with throughout his career, having been trained by Fabio Capello, Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola, among others.
