Polokwane – A 27-year-old man from Mojeteng, Maake village, in Tzaneen has been sentenced to 30 years in prison after one of the children he raped identified him two years after the incident.
The man, Mpho Gift Malesa, was found guilty in the Limpopo High Court of four counts of rape. Malesa pleaded guilty to the crimes.
On Tuesday Judge Joseph Raulinga sentenced Malesa for the rape of four minors in the period between July 3, 2011 and October 2, 2012 in Seshego.
A 6-year-old girl was the first child to be lured and raped by Malesa.
