Rowdy Ronda Rousey is back.
UFC President Dana White announced Wednesday that the Riverside native will face bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 on Dec. 30 in Las Vegas.
White, who recently declared the former champion as the UFC’s biggest star, broke the news on Colin Cowherd’s show on Fox Sports 1.
Rousey (12-1) has been away from the Octagon since suffering her first MMA loss via a stunning head-kick knockout by Holly Holm at UFC 193 in November last year.
Since then, the belt has changed hands with every title defense.
Holm was submitted late in the fifth round by Miesha Tate at UFC 196 in March. Nunes (13-4) won the title at UFC 200 with a first-round thrashing of Tate in July.
