Certain brands are associated with certain products. If I say McDonalds, you probably think of burgers or french fries. Pepsi will quickly put the image of soda into your head.
What happens when brands step out of their comfort zone and try to make something a little bit different? In most cases, it seems to end with a pretty massive failure, as you can see on the interesting infographic below.
